Professor Mehmed Gribajcevic, MD, PhD. In 1960 he graduated Primary school in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 1964 he graduated High School Sarajevo. In 1969 he graduated Faculty of Medicine of University of Sarajevo. In 1977 he finished Specialisation in internal medicine at University Clinical Center in Sarajevo. From 1978–1980 at University of Zagreb, Faculty of Medicine finshed Postgraduate research study. In 1984 at University of Zagreb, Faculty of Medicine he earned PhD. In 1983 at University of Sarajevo, Faculty of Medicine he has been elected as Assistant in gastroenterohepatology. In 1989 at University of Sarajevo, Faculty of Medicine he has been elected as Professor in Gastroenterohepatology.He has next professional experiences: 1993–2008 – Clinical Center University of Sarajevo, Professor and Head of Division for Gastroenterohepatology, 1994–2008 – Clinical Center University of Sarajevo; Director for Internal Specialities, 1996-1998 – Sarajevo Canton Minister of Health, 2003 – Coordinator of the Liver transplant team. Additional education and training: Training in endoscopy and gastroenterology: 1981 – Erlangen; 1983 – Ludwisburg; 1984 – Munich; 1989 – Moscow; 1989 – Riga (Latvia). He was a member of Associations: 1992 – Bosnia and Herzegovina Association of MD; member, 1996 – Bosnia and Herzegovina President of Gastroenterohepatologists National Society Bosnia and Herzegovina: Publications: over 120 publications, two books and co-author in four books.
