U mjesecu novembru 2020. godine elektronskim putem su konsultirani članovi AMNuBiH o preloženom tekstu Registra kličkih istraživanja, na osnovu kojeg budući istraživači mogu prijaviti svoje projekte istraživanja u skladu s Metodološkim uputsvom kojeg je predložila Radna grupa eksperata za izradu Registra. Četrnaestog novembra 2020. godine Registar je usvojen na 11-tim Danima Akademije i njegov tekst je postavljen na web stranicu Akademije medicinskih nauka BiH (www.amn.ba) kao oficijelan dokument, na osnovu kojeg je moguće aplicirati projekat Kliničkog istraživanja, te na osnovu ocjene naših eksperata ocjenjivača, u skladu sa postupkom njegove registracije putem ove web stranice i odobrenja od strane tima AMNuBiH, kliničko istraživanje se može evidentirati u našem Registru i dobiti svoj kataloški broj.

Postupak registracije kliničkog istraživanja u BALKANSKOM REGISTRU KLINIČKIH ISTRAŽIVANJA (BALKAN CLINICAL RESEARCH REGISTRY - BCRR) je sljedeći:

1. Uplata troškova registracije (svrha uplate) od iznosu od 100 KM vrši se na račun AMNuBiH kod UNION banke u Sarajevu, Hamdije Kreševljakovića 19, broj računa 1020500000020077, s pozivom na broj 111-inicijali prvog autora (npr. 111-GM).
2. Skeniranu uplatnicu poslati na email AMNUBiH: amnubih@gmail.com. U propratnom pismu (mejlu) navesti naziv studije, autore i njihove afilijacije, jasno izraziti želju da studija bude registrirana u BCRR, i potvrditi da studija nije prethodno registrirana u nekom drugom Registru kliničkih istraživanja,

3. Administrator BCRR-a mejlom obavještava urednika BCRR-a zaduženog za provjeru metodološke ispravnosti protokola studije (dizajna i planirane statističke obrade) o prijavi nove studije.
4. Urednik BCRR-a šalje podnosiocu prijave mejl-a s linkom ka upitniku za popunjavanje detalja protokola studije.
5. Podnosilac prijave popunjava on-line upitnik.
6. Urednik BCRR-a provjerava metodološku ispravnost prijavljenog protokola; po potrebi konsultira eksperte AMNUBiH.
7. Ukoliko je protokol metodološki ispravan, urednik BCRR-a dodjeljuje protokolu registracioni broj, o tome obavještava podnosioca prijave i administratora BCRR-a, i ovom poslednjem prosljeđuje podatke o prijavljenom protokolu.
8. Ukoliko postoje metodološki nedostaci koje treba otkloniti, urednik BCRR-a o tome mejlom obavještava podnosioca prijave i šalje mu novi link za popunjavanje upitnika.
9. Administrator podatke o prijavljenoj studiji arhivira, a na veb stranici BCRR-a objavljuje samo sljedeće: registracioni broj studije, pun naziv studije i ime glavnog istraživača

In November 2020, AMNuBiH members were electronically consulted on the proposed text of the Register of Clinical Research, on the basis of which future researchers can submit their research projects in accordance with the Methodological Guideline proposed by the Working Group of Experts for the Register development. On November 14, 2020, the Register was adopted on the 11^th Days of the AMNuBiH and its text was published at the website of the Academy of Medical Sciences of BiH (www.amn.ba) as an official document, on the basis of which it is possible to apply for a Clinical Research project, and based on the review of our expert evaluators, in accordance with the procedure of its registration through this website and approval by the AMNuBiH team, the clinical research can be registered in our Registry and obtain its catalog number.

Discretionary waiver: Researches who want to register their clinical studies in the Balkan Clinical Research Registry may apply for discretionary waiver of the registration fee, if the following is provided: their study was not financially supported from other parties, they gave significant contribution to work and development of AMNUBiH, and their request is elaborated. The president of AMNUBiH will decide about granting or not the discretionary waiver.

Steps of registering a clinical study in the BALKAN CLINICAL RESEARCH REGISTRY (BCRR)

1. Payment of 100 KM registration fee to the AMNUBiH (the Union Bank in Sarajevo, Hamdije Kresevljakovica 19, Account number 1020500000020077, IBAN No BA391020500000020077 Beneficiary’s Bank: UNIONBANKA DD Sarajevo, with reference number 111- initials of the first author (e.g 111-GM).
2. Scanned SWIFT or other document about payment should be sent by e-mail to the AMNUBiH: amnubih@gmail.com. The accompanying letter (e-mail) should contain title of the study, authors, their affiliations, intention to register the study in the BCRR and statement that the study was not previously registered elsewhere.
3. Administrator of the BCRR informs by e-mail the editor of the BCRR who is in charge of evaluating methodological soundness of the study protocol (design and statistical plan) about new application.
4. Methodological editor of the BCRR sends by e-mail to the applicant a link for online questionnaire, where details of the study protocol could be entered.
5. The applicant completes the online questionnaire.
6. Methodological editor of the BCRR checks methodological soundness of the study protocol; if necessary, the AMNUBiH’s experts are consulted.
7. If the study protocol is methodologically sound, the editor of the BCRR assigns a registration number to the protocol, and informs about it the applicant and administrator of the BCRR; he also sends all details about the protocol to the administrator.
8. If there are methodological issues that should be corrected, the editor of BCRR informs about them the applicant, and sends to him/her new link for enetering details about the protocol.
9. The administrator archives the data about the registered study, and publishes at the veb page of the BCRR the following: registration number, title of the study and name of the principal investigator.
